Brass gilt, silver plating; 32.0 mm wide; weighs 16.1 g not including the suspension and connecting link. In excellent condition. The gilt is perfect; the silver finish is pristine with the exception of just minimal wear at the raised edge and eyelet. Includes nicely preserved old ribbon.

One of the "republican" MOOP (Ministry for Protecting Public Order) medals, issued when this agency temporarily replaced MVD during the 60s. For unknown reasons, the 2nd class (15 Years) award is by far the hardest to find among the triad of the MOOP medals of Soviet Georgia.
