Postcard For Combat Service, 1954.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", postally unused and unmarked; published by the Soviet Artist Publishing House, circulation 100,000. The artwork is an offset print of a painting by P. Smukrovich depicting the scene of a little boy, a partisan fighter, receiving an award from a Red Army officer in front of his partisan unit. It was not uncommon for children, mostly orphans with no one to go and no one to take care of them, to be "adopted" by partisan detachments and become good fighters, leveraging their small size and appearance to perform reconnaissance and acts of sabotage.
In excellent condition: just tiny barely noticeable corner bumps.
