Postcard Crossing the Volga, 1964.
The size is continental standard 6" x 4", unmailable without a cover, published by the Soviet Artist Publishing House, circulation 20,000, very small by Soviet standards. The artwork is an offset print of a painting by V. Dmitrievskiy. The postcard is probably part of a series, with a descriptive annotation on the verso. Note that, probably as a side effect of Krushchev's campaign against Stalin's personality cult, there is no mention of Stalingrad in the annotation. Instead, the Battle of Stalingrad is described as "a great battle on the banks of the Russian river."
In excellent condition: the obverse is pristine; the verso is clean and attractively and mildly age-toned.
