Flag of the Supreme Commander of the Soviet Navy, circa 1980s.
In synthetic silk. Relatively small size at 38" x 27" makes it easy to display. Features a white field with a wide blue margin at the bottom, and a large Soviet state emblem in the center. The cotton hoist sleeve is unmarked, which is not uncommon for 1980s naval flags.
In very good condition, showing two stains, not very intrusive to the eye. We put a quarter coin next to their photos to give you an idea of their size. Overall, the flag presents very well.
This flag was raised only when the Supreme Commander of the Soviet Navy was present onboard the ship. Its size makes it appropriate for one of the smaller ships.
Please note that the 1-ft. ruler in our last photo is for size reference.
