Silver, gold, enamel, measures 87.5 mm in height, 87.7 mm in width, weighs 66.7 g. The eight-point star is in silver. The center medallion is in gold, with the raised crown of the Kingdom of Prussia. The medallion ring is enameled in blue with golden inner and outer borders. The inscription GOTT MIT UNS ("God with us") is accented by an arabesque at the bottom. The reverse is smooth, the vertical pin shows the maker's mark "JCbS".
In excellent, outstanding condition. There is no wear visible to the naked eye.

The Order of Merit of the Prussian Crown was instituted by King Wilhelm II on 18 January 1901 to commemorate the bicentennial of the foundation of the Kingdom of Prussia. According to some sources, the order was awarded only 54 times before it was discontinued in 1918.
