The records were made at the Moscow Records Factory In Memory of 1905 (the year referring to the first Russian Revolution) of MASHPROM, the People's Commissariat of Machine Building. The manufacturer's name and trademark logo are embossed at the bottom of the back cover.

Both the album and the records show amazingly little wear, mostly to the cloth of the cover of the album. The records show minor usage wear but are free of any significant scratches. We have checked all the records only visually, not having a record player. While making no guarantees, we do not anticipate any problems with playback.

There is no shortage of digitized audio and video recordings of Stalin's public speeches, but imagine your vintage record player, the scratchy background noise only shellac at 78 rpm can make, and the voice of the most prolific mass murderer and leader of 1/6 of the Earth's dry land promising his audience bright communist future at the height of his Great Purge. Now that's an experience worth having, not to mention an inexhaustible conversational subject!

Please note that the pen in our photo is for size reference.
