Order of Glory, 1st cl., #3154, awarded to a former reconnaissance scout of the 3rd Ukrainian Front for the 1944 fighting in Hungary. As was often the case, the recipient had been erroneously awarded with two Orders of Glory 2nd cl., one of which was later replaced with the Glory 1st cl. according to the Soviet award code. A highly decorated enlisted soldier, he took part in the 1945 Victory Parade in Moscow. The order is in excellent condition. Comes with a copy of the award commendations for all three Orders of Glory.

He killed 30 German soldiers and captured 6 POWs while operating ahead of the regular infantry during the Red Army Jan. - Feb. 1945 offensives in Pomerania. EXC condition.
