$2,800.00 Stalin Prize Medal, 3rd cl., 1946 issue. Not only is this the first post-war issue, but also one of the earliest specimens of the Stalin Prize medal ever produced: although Stalin Prizes had been awarded since 1941, the medal was only instituted in 1945, and the first of them were issued during the following year. In superb condition.

$1,900.00 Large Certificate (Laureate's Diploma) for the Stalin Prize 3rd cl., awarded in 1948 to a prominent geologist for the discovery of mineral ores on the Kola Peninsula in the Soviet arctic. The document is in good overall condition, showing wear to the cover and some damage to internal pages, but generally intact and very presentable. This is one of 710 diplomas awarded to winners of all three classes of the Stalin Prize in 1948. Majority of these were exchanged for State Prize documents during the 60s.

$8,500.00 Lenin Prize Medal, #2438, Complete Set with both Large and Small Award Certificates and original cases of issue for the medal and large document. Awarded in 1967 to a member of the team of engineers who designed a machine for harvesting tea leaves - a key agricultural product in the Soviet republic of Georgia. The medal as well as both documents are in superb condition. This Lenin Prize set really cannot be upgraded in terms of its completeness and condition of its components!

$2,700.00 State Prize Medal, 1st cl., #1427, 1962-1966 issue in solid 23 K gold. In near mint condition - possibly the best example we have seen.

$250.00 Award certificate for State Prize, #19754, 1987 issue to a foreman of a construction team in Belarus. A late Gorbachev era award for building public housing and facilities. In excellent condition.

$90.00 Council of Ministers Prize Medal, #11712, circa 1980s. The last version of the medal featuring pin back attachment and circular Mint logo. In excellent condition.

$2,700.00 Medal of Honored Specialist of the Armed Forces of the USSR, 1988-1991. This is an extremely rare decoration: according to all current estimates, slightly over 200 of these were ever awarded. In excellent condition.

$195.00 Medal of Honored Medical Doctor of RSFSR, 1975-1995. The top level of recognition bestowed by the government of Soviet Russian (and later, Russian Federation) upon MDs. Although the title existed since 1940, the medal (or "honorary badge") was only established in 1975. In excellent condition.

$360.00 Medal of Honored Animal Farm Technician (Zootekhnik) of RSFSR, 1981 - 1995. This honorary title was established very early, in 1949, but the medals were issued during the last decade of the Soviet Union and for a few years afterwards (until the introduction of the new Russian Federation medals.) In very fine to excellent condition.

$230.00 Medal of Honored Agricultural Mechanical Equipment Specialist (Mekhanizator) of RSFSR, 1980 - 1995. This relatively scarce award was instituted among the last among the Honored Titles of the Soviet era.
