In good to very good condition. The cover shows minor wear, mostly at the corners, and an unfortunate scrape on the artwork near the girl's skirt. The first internal page is separated from the rest of the pages, but this can be rather easily repaired

The first internal page is separated from the rest of the pages, but this can be rather easily repaired, if desired. The first page shows a small rip at the top edge. The rest of the internal pages show slight discoloration where the photos used to be inserted into the retainer slits, and are mostly clean. One exception is page 6 which has what looks like a large boot print. Overall, the album presents rather well.

The painting is interesting in that the face of the girl who is evidently considering volunteering into the Army bears an uncanny resemblance to the face of the Motherland figure on the poster on the wall.
