A plaque like this was probably part of a large propaganda foyer display of party and military leaders in a vocational, trade, or military school. Thirteen (overkill!) tiny nail holes in the margin do not reach the artwork but will come in handy when re-mounting the plaque on to a backing.

In very good condition. Occasional slight deformations to the edge margin are barely noticeable. The artwork shows 2 areas where the bronze coating is scuffed or scratched off, not very obvious against the complex

The artwork shows 2 areas where the bronze coating is scuffed or scratched off, not very obvious against the complex surfaces of the artwork. Strange and unusual lines in the finish suggest that either the finish was applied with a brush, or the item was too vigorously cleaned with something slightly abrasive, causing these lines. But all this wear is not too detractive unless you are, literally, eye-to-eye with Lenin.
