In very good condition. The edges show mild warping which must have occurred when the portrait was dismantled. Two small dents are visible under Lenin's eye and to the left and right of his head. A few very minor scratches can be seen, mostly at the bottom, but none of this damage is too intrusive or detractive. There is very mild and attractive patina in recessed areas, actually just adding character, as well as contrast and high relief to the artwork.
