Order of the Polar Star, Type 4, #30197, 1999-2001 issue.

Silver gilt, enamels, 3-piece construction; measures 54.6 mm in height, 47.6 mm in width. Note the very high serial number: this piece is among the last of the Type 4 Polar Stars ever issued (the very last ones, with serial numbers just under 32000, were issued in 2002).

In outstanding, excellent condition. The enamels are essentially perfect throughout; the white enamel on the loops has some imbedded specks of dust but not chips or flaking. The gold plating on the starburst and wreath is well preserved and bright.
