Letter Home From a German Soldier in Soviet POW Camp #7937, July 1947.

Measures 5 �" x 3 �", printed on pulpy unbleached paper. The letter is addressed to a woman residing in Leipzig, sent by "Kgf" ("Kriegsgefangen", German for "prisoner of war") Kurt Fischer. The rhomboid stamp in the upper left-hand corner is that of a military censor.

In excellent condition, showing minimal wear to the left edge and a couple of small spots where the ink is smeared, never to obscure the word.
