Lavishly and colorfully decorated with railroad-themed artwork under the banner with the inevitable profile duo of Lenin and Stalin. The slogan under their profiles reads "Under the banner of Lenin-Stalin, under the leadership of the Communist party - forward, toward the victory of communism!" The citation is dated 3 March 1954, bears the stamp of the Riga Conductors Reserve, Baltic Railways, and is hand-signed by its chief, party leader and chairman of the local trade union committee.

In very good to excellent condition, showing light wear along the fold line, a small tear to its right end, and minor wrinkles and tears to the top edge. None of the wear does much to detract from the vibrant colors of the artwork and crisp and clear text, stamp, and signatures.
