Government Postal Cover Commemorating the Centennial of the First International Polar Year, 1982.

The size is 6 ¼" x 4 ½", with a pre-printed postal stamp. Published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The artwork on the left pane of the obverse shows the cruiser Avrora, one of the main symbols of the Bolshevik October Revolution.

In excellent condition.
