**First Day Cover Commemorating the Soviet Mars-3 Lander, 1971.**

The size is 6 �" x 4 �", published by the Ministry of Communications of the USSR, circulation unknown. The large commemorative postal stamp is canceled with the First Day stamp issued by the Moscow Post Office, dated 5 April 1972. The lettering on the commemorative stamp reads "Lander Mars-3, soft landing on the planet, 2 December 1971."

In excellent condition.
