Young Pioneer Membership Badge, 1944-1958 type, Moscow Mint variation, circa mid to late 1950s issue.

Brass gilt, enamels; approx. 22 x 17 mm. Somewhat better quality than contemporary Young Pioneer badges manufactured by various other factories. Raised mint mark "MMD" to the reverse.

In excellent condition. The enamel is perfect and shows nice luster. The gilt finish is nicely preserved. Please note, our photo shows an example; if you order, we will select the same badge in equal condition from our available inventory.
